General Staff video shows Canadian instructors training Ukrainians to clear trenches
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has posted a video showing part of a training session in the UK in which Canadian instructors are teaching Ukrainian infantrymen how to enter enemy trenches.

The video contains part of a training session for Ukrainians delivered by Canadian instructors as part of Operation Interflex, which is being conducted in the UK with the participation of several other allies.
The Ukrainian infantrymen were being trained to attack enemy positions and clear trenches.

Background:
- The UK previously announced that about 900 Ukrainian marines have completed their training. They practised working with small arms and conducting small boat amphibious operations and beach raids.
- It was reported in mid-July that the countries in the Ukraine Defence Contact Group have helped to train 17 Ukrainian brigades, many of whom are not yet involved in combat operations.
