Details: The Astra Telegram channel posted photos and videos from the scene and noted that paint and insulation materials were burning over an area of 10 square metres.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation stated that 200 people had to be evacuated.

Earlier in the morning of 17 August, a fire broke out at the Krasny Oktyabr steel plant in Volgograd.
Reportedly, there was a "localised fire in a street transformer", and the fire had already been extinguished.
