Russian forces continue to attack Kherson Oblast, man injured

A 61-year-old man has been injured in an attack on the village of Novokairy, Kherson Oblast.

A 61-year-old man was injured as a result of an attack on the village of Novokairy, Mylove hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]

The victim was taken to hospital, and doctors are providing him with the necessary medical assistance."

Background: Russian forces fired on Kherson Oblast on the morning of 13 August, killing at least five adults and a 23-day-old baby.

Later, the Russians attacked Kherson Oblast once again, dropping explosives from UAVs and launching attacks on the city of Kherson. Three civilians were injured in the attack.
