Certain territories in Ukraine's south liberated – commander of Tavriia Group of forces
The defence forces of Ukraine have liberated certain territories on the Tavriia front, in the country's south.

Details: The Commander said that artillery units completed 1,303 fire tasks on this front during the day.
Over the past day, 12 August, the Russian losses amounted to 242 people (80 dead, 160 wounded, and two prisoners).
Seven units of Russian military equipment were destroyed – in particular, one tank, two armoured personnel carriers, two artillery systems and mortars, one car and one unit of special equipment.
Three ammunition storage points were also destroyed.
