"We are adding components and spare parts for ground military equipment to the list of military and dual-use goods that can be imported without permission from the State Export Control Service. This includes components for armoured vehicles and specially equipped vehicles. We are also adding components for manned aircraft to the list," said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

According to Svyrydenko, the simplification of the process should significantly enhance the ability to quickly restore military equipment. In addition, any company that has the appropriate facilities and specialists will be able to repair equipment for the frontline.

The Ministry emphasises that the permit procedure remains in place for the import of goods whose international transfers (imports) are reported by Ukraine to international organisations and for the import of goods that can be used for terrorist purposes and the circulation of which is restricted by law in Ukraine. In this way, Ukraine fulfils all its international obligations in good faith.
