Russian authorities close Vnukovo Airport again, claiming due to UAV

Moscow has announced the temporary closure of Vnukovo Airport, and Russian emergency services said take-offs and landings at the airport have been postponed.

Details: The Russians claimed that the shutdown of the Russian capital's airport was due to a drone.

The Russian services said some of the planes were redirected to other airports.

Background: On the night of 9-10 August, Russian airports Vnukovo (Moscow) and Domodedovo (Moscow Oblast) imposed temporary restrictions on aircraft take-offs and landings.
