Russia attack Sumy Oblast with rockets, VOG grenades and mines

The Russians attacked Sumy Oblast 34 times over the course of the past 24 hours, using unguided rockets and dropping VOG grenades, and causing damage to infrastructure facilities.

Details: 220 explosions were recorded in total; 23 settlements in eight hromadas came under Russian fire (a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.)

The Russians launched an airstrike, using unguided rockets, on Khotin hromada (14 explosions).

Velyka Pysarivka hromada came under artillery (33 explosions) and mortar fire (seven explosions). In addition, the Russians launched an unguided rocket from a helicopter (ten explosions) and dropped VOG grenades using UAVs (two explosions).

Russian forces fired grenade launchers on Bilopillia hromada (15 explosions). There were also attacks with artillery (14 explosions) and mortars (14 explosions). A car was damaged by an artillery shell.

The Russians dropped 48 mines on the territory of Seredyna-Buda hromada. The premises of the House of Arts were damaged as a result of one of the attacks. There were also grenade launcher attacks (five explosions) and artillery shelling (two explosions).

Krasnopillia hromada came under mortar fire (21 explosions).

Svesa hromada came under mortar fire (four explosions).

Nova Sloboda hromada came under mortar fire (nine explosions).

The Russians dropped 32 mines on the territory of Esman hromada.
