Problem at power unit at Kursk Nuclear Power Plant that Russia uses for military purposes
The staff of the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP) has reduced the capacity of power unit No. 2 by 50% to avoid malfunctions.

Quote: "The capacity of the power unit No. 2 of the Kursk NPP was reduced to 500 MW. On 29 July, at 08:51 Kyiv time, the personnel of the unit control panel disconnected one of the two turbine generators from the grid in accordance with the operating procedure to remove signs of bearing vibration."
