Ukraine's defenders kill another 490 Russian invaders, destroy 6 tanks and 21 artillery systems

Ukrainian Defence Forces have killed another 490 Russian invaders, destroyed six tanks and the same number of unmanned aerial vehicles, and 21 Russian artillery systems over the course of the past 24 hours.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 31 July 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 246,190 (+490) military personnel,

• 8,188 (+10) armoured combat vehicles,
• 4.816 (+21) artillery systems,
• 699 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems,
• 460 (+1) air defence systems,

• 4,017 (+6) operational-tactical UAVs,
• 1347 (+0) cruise missiles,
• 18 (+0) ships/boats,
• 7,292 (+17) vehicles and tankers,
