Russians destroy building of educational institution in Sumy, one killed, more injured
A building of an educational institution was destroyed in a missile attack by Russian troops on Sumy during the evening on Saturday, 29 July.

Quote: "The explosion destroyed one of the educational institution’s buildings. The fire is still burning, and firefighters are extinguishing it. The place is surrounded by police.
Windows in the neighbouring houses were smashed. The building of an Orthodox church located nearby was also damaged.
The explosion in Sumy occurred before the air-raid warning was issued, around 20:00."

Background: On Saturday evening, Russian troops launched a missile attack on an educational institution in Sumy. The Oblast Military Administration reported that information on the damage caused and regarding casualties is being confirmed.
Update: After midnight on 30 July, Suspilne Sumy reported that one person had been killed and five injured in a Russian airstrike on an educational institution in Sumy.
"Work on dealing with the aftermath of the fire is underway," the message reads.
