Lithuanian Defense Council approves 3-year support plan for Ukraine for 200 million euros
The National Defense Council of Lithuania has discussed and approved a three-year plan of military assistance for Ukraine.

Details: The plan of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the period of 2024-2026, approved by the National Security Council of Lithuania, will cost the country about 200 million euros.
The main areas of support will be the purchase of lethal and non-lethal equipment, military education and training, financial contributions to assistance funds, repair of military equipment in Lithuania, and training of personnel.
According to Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas, it is expected that funding for the plan will be provided by the European Peace Fund.
Quote: "[This] will permit [us] to direct these funds to further support the Armed Forces of Ukraine while not slowing down the development of national capabilities."
Details: The total amount of support provided by the Ministry of Defence of Lithuania to the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon reach half a billion euros. This sum covers weapons and equipment, as well as training, treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian servicemen.
