Georgian president on night attack on Odesa: Russia has committed another war crime
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has reacted to the massive missile attack on Odesa by the Russians.

Zourabichvili stressed that by attacking Odesa, Russia has committed another war crime.
"I condemn in the strongest terms the attacks on a UNESCO world heritage site, Odesa, and its peaceful residents, blunt violations of all norms of international law," she said.

Background: Western foreign ministers and ambassadors, EU chief diplomat Josep Borrell, and the president of Moldova have all posted responses to the attack.
Pope Francis mentioned Russia's missile attack on Odesa in his Sunday [23 July – ed.] address and called for prayers for peace in Ukraine.
As has been widely reported, Russia launched another missile attack on Odesa on the night of 23 July. The Odesa Oblast Military Administration reported that six houses were destroyed. The Transfiguration Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the city, was also seriously damaged.
The Ukrainian Air Force has reported that the Russian forces fired 19 missiles of various types, including five Oniks cruise missiles, on Odesa Oblast overnight on 22-23 July. Ukrainian air defence forces shot down nine missiles.
