Ukrainian defenders kill more than 600 Russians

Ukrainian defenders killed another 630 Russian soldiers in the war over the last day and burned 11 tanks and 29 artillery systems.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 23 July 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 241,960 (+630) military personnel,
• 4,151 (+11) tanks,
• 8,105 (+9) armoured combat vehicles,
• 4,658 (+29) artillery systems,
• 697 (+4) multiple-launch rocket systems,
• 451 (+3) air defence systems,
• 315 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft,
• 310 (+0) helicopters,
• 3,958 (+14) operational-tactical UAVs,
• 1,298 (+0) cruise missiles,
• 18 (+0) ships/boats,
• 7,172 (+13) vehicles and tankers,
• 696 (+5) special vehicles and other equipment.
