Ukraine developed its own medium-range air defence systems

Yehor Cherniev, Ukrainian deputy from the Servant of the People party, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, said that Ukraine has developed and is testing its own air defence systems.

This, of course, is not an equivalent of Patriot, SAMP-T or IRIS-T. I think it is closer to HAWK or medium range systems. They are, in fact, of Ukrainian production and Ukrainian development.

I will not name these developments now, they are now being tested, quite successfully. Missiles have already been developed."

Earlier: On 21 July, NSDC Secretary Oleksii Danilov said that the Ukrainian defence industry is already producing means that will allow Ukraine to protect its port infrastructure against Russian attacks.
