Russians attack Sumy Oblast, killing 1 person, injuring 6, causing destruction
One person has been killed and six others injured in Russian artillery shelling of Sumy Oblast on Saturday, 22 July.

Quote from the oblast military administration: "At around 10:00, one of the villages of the Krasnopillia hromada came under fire. Fourteen explosions were recorded. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Early reports show that one person has been killed and four more received injuries of varying degrees of severity in the shelling. The injured have been taken to hospital."
Details: Civilian houses and civil infrastructure facilities were destroyed as well.
Later, the Prosecutor General's Office reported that the occupiers dropped an explosive device in the city centre of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy Oblast, injuring two civilians.
Quote from Prosecutor General's Office: "The enemy used a drone to drop an explosive device on civilian facilities in the city centre of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy Oblast, on 22 July 2023, at around 14:30.
As a result of the enemy's attack, two men who were near the entrance to an invincibility centre were injured. One of the victims was just providing people with access to the shelter, and the other was passing by on a bicycle."
