A Russian Su-25 attack aircraft has crashed in Krasnodar Krai in the Russian Federation. The pilot had ejected, but later died on the way to hospital.

Details: The pilot was reportedly rescued from the water and is being given medical assistance.

The military later reported that the attack aircraft crashed during a training flight.

The cause of the accident is thought to have been engine failure.

The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai administration reported that there were no casualties.

The Telegram channel Baza later reported that the pilot died on the way to hospital. He could not be resuscitated.
