Trump explains how he wants to force Zelenskyy and Putin to conclude a peace agreement
Donald Trump, the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party and former president of the country, explained how he wants to force the presidents of Ukraine and Russia to conclude a peace agreement if he wins the election.

I would tell Zelenskyy, no more. You got to make a deal.
I would tell Putin, if you don't make a deal, we're going to give him a lot. We're going to [give Ukraine] more than they ever got if we have to. I will have the deal done in one day. One day."
Background:
- On 26 March 2023, former US president and likely Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump promised his voters to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of being elected to a second term. Later, he also repeated this thesis.
- On 13 May, Zelenskyy recalled that Trump, who repeatedly promised to end Russia's war against Ukraine in 24 hours, had not done so before the full-scale invasion.
