In 90 districts of 7 oblasts of Belarus, the authorities have restricted the ability of citizens to visit forests, including those on the border with Ukraine and Poland.

Quote: "As of the evening of 11 July, visits to forests were restricted throughout the entire Brest and Grodno oblasts. In Vitebsk Oblast, the restrictions affected 18 districts, Minsk Oblast – 21, Gomel Oblast – 14, and Mogilev Oblast – 4."

The authorities reported that they have developed an interactive map of forest bans and restrictions, which allows you to track which regions are temporarily banned from visiting forests.

Previously: On 9 July, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a lengthy meeting on the security and social situation in the region at Lubart's Castle in Lutsk. According to him, one of the first issues discussed was the situation on the border with Belarus.
