Murder of Russian captain Rzhitskii: Russia claims to have detained suspect
The Investigative Committee of Russia has reported about the detention of a man, whose involvement in the murder of Stanislav Rzhitskii, Deputy Head of the Mobilisation Department of the Krasnodar City Administration in Russia, is being investigated.

The detainee is being investigated for involvement in the murder of Stanislav Rzhitskii, Deputy Head of the Mobilisation Department of the Krasnodar City Administration."
Earlier: On July 10, it became known that Stanislav Rzhytsky, deputy head of the department for mobilisation, was shot dead in the city of Krasnodar, Russia. According to media reports, he was involved in missile attacks on Ukraine.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Stanislav Rzhytsky was shot dead in Russian Krasnodar. According to the State Government, on 10 July, the man was on a ran in the Krasnodar Park of Culture and Recreation named after 30th Anniversary of the Victory. Around 06:00, seven shots were fired at him from a Makarov pistol. Rzitskii died on the spot as a result of gunshot wounds.
Relatives of Rzytskyi said that he allegedly left the army even before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
