In the near future, the Ukrainian President's Office plans to develop a concept of control over business, which will provide for the concentration of control functions in one state body instead of several as it is now.

Quote: "In the coming weeks, perhaps in a month or two, we will develop a concept according to which we will try to concentrate all the functionality of interaction with business in one law enforcement agency so that three or five bodies do not [inspect – ed.] the same company," Shurma said at a press conference.

He added that they are considering the possibility of concentrating supervisory functions in the Bureau of Economic Security as a working option.

According to Shurma, Ukraine will approach solving business problems related to law enforcement and regulatory agencies systemically.

In particular, the systemic solution of problems with tax and customs was clearly defined by the president – a complete digitalisation.

"Yes, it will take some time, months, maybe years to remove human interaction as much as possible, and with it the factor of corruption and all the discomfort that the business is experiencing," Shurma said.

Systematic work with imperfections of legislation is also required so that it is possible to protect business from violations, and regulatory authorities would have fewer reasons to fix them.
