Zelenskyy holds Staff meeting: We reinforcing northern front
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, which, in particular, decided to strengthen the northern front.

Details: There were reports from Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Tavriia Operational and Strategic Group Oleksandr Tarnavskyi and Commander of the Joint Forces Serhii Naiev.
Quote: "Situation on the battlefield; there is progress. Reinforcement of our operations with additional artillery systems and shells. There were separate reports by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on the situation in Belarus. We keep it under constant control.
The decision of the Staff was to instruct Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhnyi and Commander of the Pivnich (North) Naiev to implement a set of measures to strengthen this front."
Background:
- Earlier, Oleksii Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, said that at the next meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, the deployment of Wagner mercenaries in Belarus would be discussed.
- At the same time, according to Ukrainian intelligence, the Wagnerites do not plan to deploy to Belarus en masse.
