Ukraine's defenders destroy 11 Russian artillery units
Ukraine’s defence forces have had 40 combat encounters with Russians over the course of the past 24 hours.

Details: During the past day, Russian occupiers hit their targets using Iranian-made Shahed UAVs.
Air defence units shot down six kamikaze drones. In addition, Russians carried out two missile and 50 air strikes, and launched 52 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukraine’s troops and populated areas.
Russian troops are concentrating their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka fronts. 40 combat clashes took place there during the day.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russians launched an airstrike in the area of Ruska Lozova (Kharkiv Oblast), and deployed mortar and artillery to attack more than 25 settlements, including Leonivka (Chernihiv Oblast), Novovasylivka, Znob-Novhorodske, Nova Huta, Vovkivka (Sumy Oblast), as well as Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Mali Prohody, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Bochkove, Nesterne, Kruhle and Budarky (Kharkiv Oblast).
On the Lyman front, Russians tried to advance near Rozdolivka, but had no success. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Zvanivka, Vyimka (Donetsk Oblast). More than 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Torske, Verkhnokamianske and Rozdolivka (Donetsk Oblast) came under artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut front, Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, and Bila Hora. They launched an airstrike near New-York (Donetsk Oblast). More than 15 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka and Pivdenne were affected by Russian artillery fire.
On the Avdiivka front, Russians carried out offensive operations near Avdiivka and Sieverne, but had no success. At the same time, they launched airstrikes near Avdiivka, and deployed artillery to attack areas around more than 10 settlements, including Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Karlivka and Pervomaiske.
On the Marinka front, Ukraine’s defenders repelled all Russian attacks near Marinka, at the same time they launched an airstrike there. More than 10 settlements, including Marinka and Pobieda (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian artillery fire.
On the Shakhtarsk front, Russians carried out unsuccessful offensive operations near Novomykhailivka. They launched airstrikes near Prechystivka and Makarivka (Donetsk Oblast), and shelled more than 20 settlements, including Kostiantynivka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Vilne Pole, Storozheve, Blahodatne, Makarivka, and Rivnopil (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, Russians are concentrating their main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukraine’s troops. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Levadne and Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). More than 30 settlements, including Levadne, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast); Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Olhivka, Burhunka, Lvove, Ivanivka, Naddniprianske, Antonivka, Kherson, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Yantarne, Berehove, Tomyna Balka, Sofiivka (Kherson Oblast) and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv Oblast), came under Russian artillery fire.
The Ukrainian Air Force carried out 11 strikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, five strikes on anti-aircraft systems and one on a Russian command post over the day.
Ukraine’s defenders destroyed a Russian Su-25 aircraft and three tactical reconnaissance UAVs.
Units from Rocket Forces and Artillery struck an ammunition storage point, 11 artillery units at their firing positions, three air defence systems, two electronic warfare stations and another important Russian target.
