Russians attack Sumy Oblast, drop 4 mortar bombs

Russian forces carried out seven attacks on border areas over the past day.

Details: In total, 36 strikes were recorded.

The Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, and Yunakivka hromadas were attacked. (A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.)

Russian forces bombarded the Bilopillia hromada with an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher (9 strikes), a SPG-9 Spear (a Soviet-made anti-tank gun – ed.) (2 strikes) and mortars (7 strikes).

The Russians dropped four mortar bombs on the Krasnopillia hromada.

There was a mortar attack (10 strikes) in the Myropillia hromada.

Russian forces carried out artillery shelling (2 strikes) and a mortar attack (2 strikes) in Yunakivka hromada.

Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.
