Traitors who help Russia deserve maximum punishment – Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that every traitor who helps the terrorist state deserves the highest possible punishment and must bear responsibility before the entire international community.
Source: Zelenskyy, during his evening video address, commenting on the detention of a man targeting Russian missiles on the city of Kramatorsk on 27 June
Quote from Zelenskyy: "The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the police special forces, detained a person who facilitated this terrorist attack. Right in a cafe in Kramatorsk, a [local] well-known pizzeria... There may still be people under the rubble.
Everyone who helps Russian terrorists ruin lives deserves the maximum punishment."
Details: Zelenskyy added that this applies not only to collaborators, regarding whom "everything is obvious" because they are "people without humanity".
He pointed out that the Russian accomplice faces a treason charge, which carries a sentence of up to life imprisonment.
Quote: "Anyone in the world who does not understand that one should never be an accomplice of a terrorist state must be responsible for this before the entire international community. Accomplices of a terrorist state should be considered as traitors to humankind and humanity," Zelenskyy concluded.
