Details: The General Staff reported that a recent outbreak of viral diseases forced Russian occupation forces to take measures to stabilise the sanitary and epidemiological situation in a number of settlements on the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast that had sustained damage following the Kakhovka HPP explosion.

The Russians ordered public utility workers to clear the rubble and recover the bodies of civilians killed in the flood.

To conceal the true death toll, the commanders of the Russian occupation forces approved a decision to bury the deceased in mass graves without collecting DNA samples or marking the grave sites.
