Prigozhin lied about lack of shells, stockpiling ammunition for two months – Gulagu.net

Russian human rights organisation Gulagu.net reports that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner PMC, was stockpiling ammunition for 2 months, lying about the alleged "shell famine".

Quote: "Throughout April and May, Prigozhin lied about the alleged "projectile famine"; the 1st and 7th Assault Squads had a huge supply of MANPADS and trophy Javelins at their disposal.

A source from Prigozhin's security service reported that the preparation for this scenario lasted for more than 2 months."

Details: The project also reports that the operation to capture the city of Rostov was led by Aleksandr "Ratibor" Kuznetsov from the Wagner Group's 1st Assault Squad. The defence operation in the northeastern part of the city was led by  Fedor "Barin" Leshchuk, the commander of the 7 Assault Squad.
