The Russian losses amounted to more than three companies with personnel either killed or wounded.
A total of 51 pieces of Russian military equipment were destroyed.
This includes three tanks, fourteen armoured combat vehicles (armoured personnel carriers and multi-purpose fully amphibious auxiliary armoured tracked vehicles), a Supercam UAV, a Orlan-10 UAV, a Merlin UAV, two 2A36 Giatsint-B howitzers, three 2C5 Giatsint-C howitzers, three 2C7 Pion self-propelled artillery systems, two 2C3 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery systems, two 2A65 Msta-B howitzers.
Six Russian weapons storage points were also destroyed.
Meanwhile, Maliar notes the following: "you should not expect the offensive to be something swift. This is war".
At the same time, the deputy minister stresses that the Defence Forces are advancing daily: "Yes, it's gradual, but our troops are consolidating their positions and making steady progress."
Maliar reiterated that "only the Ukrainian military, who planned the offensive, can now assess how it is going".
