During the first three hours that the Unified Register of Weapons has been in operation, about 3,500 people have logged in to the Citizens' One-stop Shop.

Details: According to the minister, people are quite interested in how the register works − and on average, 500 users visit the one-stop shop page at the same time.

Klymenko noted that this data confirms the importance and long-awaited launch of the registry.

At the same time, he urged Ukrainians not to overload the system with requests in one day without urgent need because "the registry will not be working only for today."   

Background: 

• The Unified Register of Weapons was launched in Ukraine on 23 June. 
• On 16 June, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that it had made it easier to get a gun permit, allowing people to arrange everything without the need to leave their homes.
