Quote from Klymenko: "Today, 23 June. This is one of the important deadlines that I publicly set for myself and for the entire team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And we did it: the Unified Register of Weapons is fully operational from now on."
Details: According to Klymenko, the main advantages of introducing the Unified Register of Weapons are that citizens will be able to easily receive information about their registered weapons. The procedure for obtaining permits for weapons will also be simplified.
The Minister reported that the Unified Register of Weapons provides for the creation of Electronic Cabinets. So Ukrainians will be able to use the service without leaving their homes and without the need to visit the National Police of Ukraine, merely by submitting documents through the Citizens' One-stop Shop or at a weapons store.
Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs created a Unified Register of Weapons contact centre (phone number 044-33-44-035) and a Unified Weapons Register chatbot on Telegram, @arms_mvs_bot, where Ukrainians can get answers to any questions about the new regulations.
"We are confidently moving towards the implementation of all planned security projects. There will be more," Klymenko concluded.
