Zelenskyy holds Staff meeting discussing situation on fronts and actions of offensive brigades
On Monday 19 June, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the situation at the front and the brigades participating in the counteroffensive.

[Ground Forces Commander Oleksandr] Syrskyi, [Command of Tavriia Operational Group of Forces Oleksandr] Tarnavskyi, [Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valerii] Zaluzhnyi and [Chief of Defence Intelligence Kyrylo] Budanov reported on the operational situation, ammunition supply, and a forecast of the enemy's actions in the near future.
Minister [of Internal Affairs Ihor] Klymenko reported on the training of the National Guard and border guard brigades, providing them with equipment and everything they need to perform combat missions."
Background:
- Ukraine's Armed Forces have liberated Piatykhatky and seven other settlements on the Berdiansk and Melitopol fronts in the course of two weeks of the counteroffensive, as reported by Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the past week was very important for the Ukrainian offensive and thanked the Ukrainian soldiers.
