Car carrying Russia proxy head of seized Zaporizhzhia Oblast explodes in occupied Simferopol

A car belonging to Vladimir Epifanov, the Russian-appointed "deputy prime minister" of the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, has exploded in the occupied city of Simferopol [Crimea].

Details: Russian proxy, his bodyguard and his secretary were hospitalised with burns.

As Telegram channels report, a gas cylinder in Epifanov's car exploded on the Yevpatoriia road at 04:00 on 19 June.

Epifanov himself, as well as his bodyguard and secretary, suffered 30 per cent burns to their heads, torsos and arms in the explosion. The bodyguard's left leg was also burned. All three were hospitalised.

What exactly caused the explosion is still unclear, Baza writes. However, the assistant of the Russian puppet said that the day before, the gas cylinder was checked at a service station in Simferopol.
