24 combat clashes between Ukraine’s defenders and Russian forces in a day
On 18 June, 24 combat clashes occurred between the Defence Forces of Ukraine and the Russian occupying forces on four fronts.

Quote: "Last night, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukraine using missiles and Iranian-made Shahed attack UAVs. Information regarding the aftermath of this terrorist attack is currently being established.
Over the course of the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 59 airstrikes and launched more than 100 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of our forces and the settlements. There are fatalities and casualties among the civilian population, in particular children; critical infrastructure targets have been damaged, and more than 20 residential buildings and a school were destroyed or damaged.
The probability of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka fronts; 24 combat clashes took place over the past day."
Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there were no significant changes in the operational situation. No signs of the formation of offensive groups have been spotted.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russia carried out airstrikes on Ohirtseve, Budarky, and Vesele in Kharkiv Oblast. Karpovychi (Chernihiv Oblast); Seredyna-Buda, Sytne, Porohon, Rozhkovychi, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Pryvillia, Budivelne, Bilokopytove, Novi Vyrky, Vorozhba, Bilopillia, Katerynivka, Obody, Pysarivka, Zapsillia, Stepne, Iskryskivshchyna, Hyrine, Popivka, Kindrativka, Stepne, Pysarivka, Basivka, Loknia, Myropillia and Stepok (Sumy Oblast), as well as Velyka Pysarivka, Huryiv Kozachok, Veterynarne, Vovchansk, Budarky, Zemlianky, Bolohivka, Odnorobivka, Udy, Strilecha, Lukiantsi and Vovchanski Khutory (Kharkiv Oblast) came under Russian mortar and artillery fire.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians tried to advance near Novoselivske in Luhansk Oblast but had no success. They launched an airstrike on Kyslivka (Kharkiv Oblast). Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Kyslivka and Berestove (Kharkiv Oblast) came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Spirne and carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Ozerne (Donetsk Oblast). Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Rozdolivka and Spirne (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Ivaniske, Pivnichne, Bila Hora and Toretsk. Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka and Pivnichne (Donetsk Oblast) were affected by Russian artillery fire.
On the Avdiivka front, the Russians launched an airstrike near Avdiivka. Keramik, Novokalynove, Stepove, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Karlivka, Berdychi, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka and Sieverne (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian artillery fire.
On the Marinka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled all Russian assaults near the city of Marinka. The Russians launched an airstrike on Marinka. Meanwhile, the invaders also bombarded areas in and around Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and Illinka (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Shakhtarsk front, the Russians tried to advance near Novomykhailivka and Vuhledar (Donetsk Oblast), but had no success. They conducted airstrikes near Blahodatne, Vuhledar, and Zolota Nyva (Donetsk Oblast). The Russians also bombarded Novomykhailivka, Kateryninka, Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Shakhtarske, and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk Oblast).
Russian forces are on the defensive on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts. They conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of Makarivka, Donetsk Oblast; Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Orikhiv (Zaporizhzhia Oblast); and Kozatske (Kherson Oblast). Vremivka and Makarivka (Donetsk Oblast); Zelene Pole, Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Zatyshshia, Huliaipole, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, Lobkove and Kamianske (Zaporizhzhia Oblast); Mykhailivka, Novodmytrivka, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Beryslav, Tomaryne, Vesele, Kozatske, Burhunka, Virivka, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Kherson, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Sofiivka and Myroliubivka (Kherson Oblast) and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv Oblast) came under Russian artillery fire.
During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aircraft carried out 10 airstrikes on areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated and hit a Russian anti-aircraft defence system. Ukraine’s defenders also destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter, three Iranian-made Shahed attack UAVs and seven reconnaissance UAVs.
In addition, Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck two command posts, four anti-aircraft missile systems, two areas where Russian personnel and military equipment were concentrated and two ammunition storage points.
