Latvia to provide 430,000 euros in humanitarian aid to Ukraine after destruction of Kakhovka HPP
On Tuesday 13 June, The Latvian government decided to send an additional EUR €430,000 to help Ukraine to deal with the aftermath of the blowing up of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP).

Last week, Latvia allocated to Ukraine EUR €200,000 of support to deal with the aftermath of the explosion on the Kakhovka HPP. Thus, the total contribution of Riga to help overcome the aftermath of Russia's actions is EUR €630,000
On Tuesday 13 June, The European Commission reported that Ukraine has received assistance from 14 EU member states to deal with the aftermath of the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP; the aid includes about 76 boats, more than 300 pumps, and 160,000 items for setting up shelters.
