President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he held a meeting on the situation in the region in Poltava Oblast, and also visited the hospital.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "We finish this day in Poltava. Quite a long day and emotional. In the morning I was in Donetsk Oblast, in our Avdiivka. It is difficult to see what Russian terrorists have done to this city… And respect to each of our soldiers, all Ukrainian who have been holding back and gradually destroying this Russian evil for 419 days and nine years.

I had the honour to congratulate Ukrainian soldiers and officers on Easter and present awards. I often thank them in my evening appeals... For their accuracy and bravery, for destroying the invaders."

Details: The President said that during the meeting he discussed important issues: the security and socio-economic situation in the region, the readiness of military units to perform tasks. We also heard information about "the operational situation in the region."

Zelenskyy also visited one of the medical institutions where Ukrainian servicemen are being treated in Poltava Oblast.

There he talked to the wounded soldiers and presented them with awards.
