It's quieter now, but it's foolish to passively hope for victory – Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stressed that Ukraine needs unity now no less than it did a year ago.

Quote: "We are now at a stage in the war when it is important for both our society and our partners not to lose sight of the path we have to take. Exactly that path. The path that lies ahead.
In comparison with last year, it is quieter in many places now. But that does not mean we can ignore the war somewhere or be less focused on helping the state.
We have done a lot together with our partners to protect people, Ukraine, and the whole of Europe. But that does not mean that now is the time to rest on our laurels. The path is still ahead. The movement is ahead. For this, we need no less unity than before. No less focus than before.
It is foolish to just passively hope that someone else will bring victory, someone who is now in the trenches, who is now in the assault operations. This is a collective task. Victory is won by all."
Details: The President stressed that on the path to victory, everyone must understand: what are my steps to victory, and are these steps enough for the whole path?
Zelenskyy added that during the Staff meeting, there were reports by Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The General Staff and the Minister of Internal Affairs reported on the formation of new units in our defence forces – the new brigades.
General Maliuk, Chief of the Security Service of Ukraine, presented a report on defence against the enemy within and countering collaborators.
