Armed Forces of Ukraine hit Russian Buk air defence system and repel attacks near Bakhmut – General Staff
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Russian Buk-M1-2 air defence system and repelled Russian attacks in the Bakhmut area.

Details: The aviation of the Defence Forces of Ukraine launched six strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of Russians, and units of Rocket Troops and artillery hit a Russian Buk-M1-2 anti-aircraft missile system and three areas of manpower concentration.
During the day, Russia launched 19 air strikes, one missile strike, and 5 MLRS attacks.
Russia continues focusing on conducting offensive operations on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts. It continues unsuccessful offensive operations in Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Kamianka, Avdiivka and Marinka, Donetsk Oblast.
On Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the operational situation has not changed significantly. During the current day, Russia delivered mortar and artillery attacks near the settlements of Senkivka, Karpovychi, Chernihiv Oblast; Starikove, Holyshivske, Pavlivka, Volfyne, Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast and Huriv Kozachok, Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Zelene, Anyskyne, Dvorichna and Zapadne in Kharkiv Oblast.
On Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russia is trying to break through the defences of our troops. Hostile forces conducted unsuccessful offensive operations on Hrianykivka, Nevske and Spirne. Russia carried out artillery attacks near the settlements of Tabaivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Serebrianka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Fedorivka and Yahidne in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut front, Russians continue to advance. They keep storming the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks in the settlements of Ivanovske, Klishchiivka and Bakhmut. Russian attacks were carried out on Zaliznianske, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Dyliivka, Toretsk, Zalizne and New York in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts, Russia carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Novokalynove, Kamianka, Sievierne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Marinka. Russian attacks occurred near more than 15 settlements. Among them are Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka and Neskuchne in Donetsk Oblast.
On Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, Russia is defending its positions. In particular, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Tavriiske, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Stepove and Kamianske in Zaporizhia Oblast, Nikopol – Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as Shliakhove, Beryslav, Shylova Balka, Tiahynka, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Bilozerka and Stanislav in Kherson Oblast, and the city of Kherson itself, were attacked. In total, combat activity was observed in 30 settlements.
