PMC recruiters confirmed to The Moscow Times information about their willingness to recruit people who were treated at a psychoneurological clinic.

The journalist from The Moscow Times contacted the Wagner Group hotline under the guise of a volunteer and reported that he was being treated in a psychoneurological clinic for a nervous breakdown. In response, he was sent a formal instruction with requirements for new recruits and was invited to use it to self-assess himself.

"Read the instructions, and if everything is fine, we are waiting for you," said the PMC recruiter.

The Moscow Times noted that it follows from the instructions that people who "suffer from serious diseases that prevent the performance of tasks, suffer from drug addiction, and have contracted hepatitis B, C" are not accepted into the PMC.

However, as follows from the instructions, no certificates are required, and a serious medical examination is not carried out upon arrival at the site, but only a rapid blood test and a urine test for drugs are taken, The Moscow Times noted.
