Ammunition and responsibility for Russia: Kuleba spoke about what he discussed with leaders of German SDP

At the meeting with the leaders of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, who came to Kyiv, support for the further supply of weapons to Ukraine, bringing Russia to justice, and Ukraine's move towards EU membership were discussed.

Quote: "I made a special emphasis on ammunition for artillery. We also discussed Germany's participation in bringing the Russian military and officials to justice for crimes committed in Ukraine. Of course, I emphasised the importance of Germany's participation in creating the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression," the Minister of Foreign Affairs said.

Kuleba noted that he also called on German politicians to support the start of negotiations for Ukraine's accession to the EU by the end of this year, and noted that he does not see any objective obstacles to this.

The Foreign Minister added that he also thanked the members of the Bundestag who played a role in recognizing the Holodomor as a genocide of Ukrainians. 

Background: On 6 March, the leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Lars Klingbeil, and the leader of the SPD faction, Rolf Mützenich, arrived in Kyiv for their first visit. Earlier, calls were heard from them to seek a way out of the war through diplomacy.
