Quote from Kryvonos: "I am grateful to the competition commission for a transparent open competition, to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for such great trust and for appointing me to the position of the Head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine…
I will consider the primary indicator of effectiveness when every corrupt person, before even considering committing a corruption crime, will fear God, the people of Ukraine and National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine."
Details: Kryvonos assured that he would remain open to society, journalists, and international partners.
He added that he would try to preserve NABU's independence and development.
The Head of the Center for Combating Corruption reported that Kryvonos has connections with Timur Tkachenko, the former business partner of Oleksiy Kuleba, the current deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine at Asper Estate LLC (40884190).
In particular, in his tax declaration filed in 2018, Tkachenko indicated that he used the apartment of Kryvonos' wife in Kyiv.
Kryvonos' declarations indicate that since 1 January 2018, he has been using a 2012 Audi Q5, owned by Timur Tkachenko's wife, Hanna Tkachenko.
In the 2019 declaration, Kryvonos no longer indicated the owners of the car.
Until recently, Tkachenko and Kuleba managed the public works department of the Kyiv City Council. When in 2021 Kuleba was promoted from head of the department to the deputy head of the Kyiv City Council, the unit was headed by Tkachenko, his first deputy and ex-business partner.
According to Bihus.info, Kuleba's department was "the only one that bypassed the police and SBI searches during the confrontation between [Kyiv Mayor] Vitalii Klitschko and the President's Office for control over the capital."
