Outbreak of intestinal infection in Lviv: 32 patients so far
An outbreak of intestinal infection has occurred in a modular town for displaced people in Lviv. 32 people have been infected, including 21 children.

Details: First, 11 people were hospitalised at the Lviv Oblast Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital with the primary diagnosis of "acute intestinal infection", including nine children under 17, from among internally displaced persons who temporarily live in the modular town in the city of Lviv.
Patients were hospitalised with nausea, vomiting, fever, and moderate diarrhoea.
During an active examination by medical workers in the town and collected an epidemic anamnesis, 21 more patients with a mild course were identified, including 12 children aged under 17. These patients are isolated and remain in outpatient treatment under the supervision of doctors of one of the city polyclinics in the city of Lviv. A complex of medical, diagnostic and anti-epidemic measures is being implemented. Disinfection of premises in the modular town has been conducted. The epidemiological investigation continues.
A total of 32 people were infected, including 21 children under 17 years of age.
