Prince of Wales visits military on border of Poland and Ukraine

William, Prince of Wales, made an unannounced trip to Poland, where he met with British and Polish troops deployed near the border with Ukraine.

Details: The prince became the first member of the royal family to meet with soldiers in Poland since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.

Firstly, William also visited Polish soldiers at the 3rd Brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces in Rzeszów.

He then met with members of the British Armed Forces to learn more about how they are working with their Polish counterparts in carrying out operations in support of Ukraine.

The Prince arrived in Poland as part of an unexpected two-day visit. He also plans to meet with President Andrzej Duda.

In Warsaw, he will go to an accommodation centre to meet with Ukrainian refugees.
