Zelenskyy arrives in Kharkiv unannounced: presents the "Hero City" award
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Kharkiv to present Mayor Ihor Terekhov with the honorary award "Hero City of Ukraine" on 22 March.

Details: By his decree dated 21 March, Zelenskyy approved the regulation on the "Hero City of Ukraine".
In particular, the city that has been granted the honorary award will be presented with the base of the flagpole and a ribbon of honour.
The base of the pole is made of galvanised copper alloys in the shape of a cylinder decorated with a relief floral ornament and a rectangular plate with inscriptions soldered to it: "Hero City of Ukraine..." and "Presidential Decree No.".
In addition, a meeting with the participation of the President was held in Kharkiv to discuss the situation in the oblast, including the restoration of the liberated territories, the construction of fortifications, the restoration of infrastructure and assistance to the victims.
Zelenskyy heard a report from the Kharkiv joint force grouping.
He also discussed with power engineers the issue of providing all settlements in Kharkiv Oblast with electricity.
In Kharkiv, the Head of State decorated the military who distinguished themselves during the defence of the oblast from the occupiers.
Previously: On 22 March, Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline positions of the Ukrainian army on the Bakhmut front in Donetsk Oblast, awarded the heroes who are defending Ukraine, and visited the wounded soldiers.
President Zelenskyy held a coordination meeting on the socio-economic and current security situation in the oblast during his working trip to Donetsk Oblast.
