Electricity consumption may be restricted in Kyiv and two oblasts
Electricity consumption remains at the same level as it was on Friday last week, and all types of power plants are operating. At the same time, due to the consequences of the Russian attack on 9 March, consumption may be restricted in the city of Kyiv as well as in Kyiv and Zhytomyr oblasts.

"All types of power plants are operating. The flood continues, so hydroelectric power plants are actively operating. Electricity generation is sufficient to cover consumption. There are insignificant imports of electricity," the report says.
Ukrenergo stressed that due to the consequences of the Russian attack on 9 March, consumption restrictions are possible in the city of Kyiv as well as in Kyiv and Zhytomyr oblasts. It will take more time to restore reliable power supply to large cities to the level that was in the power system before the full-scale invasion. Power engineers are working on this around the clock as the company added.
In other oblasts, there are no restrictions in Ukrenergo's power grids that would lead to the need to restrict consumers. Consumption limits have not been applied to the oblasts.
"The energy infrastructure along the contact line is regularly damaged by attacks. In particular, on Friday night, the energy infrastructure in Donetsk Oblast was attacked," Ukrenergo stressed.
At the same time, restoration work continues at all Ukrenergo facilities damaged by Russian attacks.
"We are doing everything possible to restore the reliability of th electricity supply as soon as possible," the company concluded.
