Flights of Russian aircrafts were reasons for afternoon air raid siren in Ukraine – Air Force
On Monday, 13 March, the activity of strategic and tactical aircrafts was registered in Russia; this resulted in the air raid sirens being sounded in the city of Kyiv and half of Ukrainian oblasts.

Details: A takeoff of the Tu-160 strategic bomber and missile carrier from an airbase in the town of Engels in Saratov Oblast was registered. The aircraft manoeuvred.
Flights of four MiG-31BM fighters (the modification that cannot carry Kinzhal missiles – ed.) to Kursk Oblast in Russia were registered as well.
A long-range strategic bomber and missile carrier Tu-22m3 took off from the Shaikovka air base and headed for the North.
Ihnat added that the activity of tactical aircrafts was registered in Bryansk Oblast in Russia and on the Eastern axis.
Background: On 13 March at 13:16, an air raid siren was sounded in Kyiv, as well as northern and eastern oblasts of the country. It lasted a little more than half an hour.
