In the conditions of Russian aggression, temporary bridges are a quick and effective way to restore the transport connection of the liberated regions with the rest of the country," the message reads.

It is noted that, in addition to Sweden, the structures for the construction of temporary crossings have already been handed over to Ukraine by the Czech Republic, France and Norway.

"Since the beginning of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion, 153 bridges and overpasses have been destroyed on the state roads of Ukraine. Thanks to the work of road workers and international support, traffic has been restored through 80 temporary crossings," the message says.

It was also reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Sweden has ceaselessly supported Ukraine: the cost of the humanitarian and civilian aid alone sent by the country since February 2022 amounts to EUR 379 million. Resources for establishing transport connections in the de-occupied territories are strategically important.
