Over 100 strikes in Sumy Oblast, Russians drop fragmentation grenade on house

Over the past day, Russians launched attacks on seven hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] in Sumy Oblast.

Details: Sumy Oblast Military Administration has reported Russian attacks on Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Seredyna-Buda, Krasnopillia, Esman and Velyka Pysarivka hromadas. There were 106 strikes.

At 14:41, Russians dropped two VOG-type grenades [fragmentation grenades – ed.] from a UAV on a private house in the village of Oleksandrivka in Velyka Pysarivka hromada. The house was damaged.

As a result of an attack, likely from a mortar, [14 strikes were launched] on the village of Starikove in Shalyhyne hromada from 15:55 to 16:35, four residential houses were damaged (one of them destroyed, two had their windows broken, one more had its windows broken and a wall damaged by shrapnel).

At 08:35, Russians attacked Bilopillia hromada using mortars, which resulted in five strikes. The attack resumed after 10:00 – there were eight strikes on two settlements and three more at 11:05.

After 12:00, there were 12 attacks launched, likely from an automatic grenade launcher, as well as six mortar bombs on a settlement. Bilipillia hromada was attacked from 15:50 using a self-propelled artillery system which resulted in 28 strikes.

At 17:00, three VOG-type grenades were dropped from a Russian UAV.

A mortar attack on the Nova Sloboda hromada at 08:40 resulted in two strikes.

In Seredyna-Buda hromada there were five strikes at 10:40, likely from mortars.

Russians attacked Krasnopillia hromada with artillery at 12:15, having launched seven shells. At 13:20, they launched a mortar attack with six mortar bombs.

At 13:05, five strikes on the Esman hromada were recorded, likely from a 120 mm mortar.
