on the borders with Poland and Lithuania (Bagrationovsk, Mamonovo, Chernyshevskoye),
on the Russian-Kazakh border (Mashtakovo, Orsk, Sagarchin).
The terms of reference state that the system should "automatically analyse face images" to identify drivers.
According to the document, this is necessary to compare the driver's face at the entrance and exit from the checkpoint.
But the publication drew attention to the fact that at the same time, the system must compare the driver's face in the image with all the data stored in a certain "biometric database or a certain list". The tender does not specify what these lists or databases are.
The equipment must be delivered by 25 November 2023.
