Ukrainian defenders destroy seven boats intended for Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups

Ukrainian defenders destroyed seven light motorboats belonging to the Russians in the south of Ukraine on 8 February 2023; the Russian occupiers were preparing to use these boats for their sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRGs).

Quote from Humeniuk: "We have managed to destroy those light boats that the enemy had prepared for sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Seven of them."

Details: Humeniuk has also added that Ukrainian defenders had damaged two Grad multiple-launch rocket systems in Oleshky from where the invaders had shelled Kherson.

• It was reported on 31 January 2023 that Ukrainian forces had destroyed at least five light motorboats carrying Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the area of the islands at the mouth of the Dnipro River.
