"Bakhmut Fortress": State Border guards kill 11 occupiers and injure 14

The State Border Guard soldiers are conducting heavy positional battles with the invaders in Bakhmut, the defenders killed 11 invaders over the past day.

Details: It is reported that during the day of 27 February, Ukrainian defenders had two positional battles with the occupiers.

With the help of aerial reconnaissance, border guards with mortars inflicted fire damage along the routes of the invaders’ transition to the offensive. In close combat, Ukrainian soldiers killed stormtroopers using grenades and small arms.

The border guards emphasise that they stopped the occupiers at the defence lines. Invaders lost 11 people, another 14 occupiers were wounded.

Background: Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, noted that the situation on the Bakhmut front is extremely tense. According to him, despite significant losses, Russians attacked with the most prepared assault units of the Wagner Group, which were trying to break through the defences and surround the city. In the battles for Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers show numerous examples of resilience, courage and heroism.
