Russians tried to advance on several fronts with no success – General Staff report
On Sunday, the Russian forces tried to conduct unsuccessful offensive actions on Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Shakhtarsk fronts.

Details: Over the course of the day, Russian forces delivered 11 airstrikes and carried out 17 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) on civilian infrastructure of the city of Kherson and along the contact line in Donetsk Oblast. Damage to civilian private and apartment buildings, and civilian casualties have been reported. The threat level of missile strikes by Russia remains high throughout Ukraine.
On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.
However, during the past day Russian forces deployed mortars and artillery to fire in and around the settlements of Katerynivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Stukalivka, Hyrine, Pavlivka in Sumy Oblast; Veterynarne, Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Cherniaky, Loshakove, Krasne Pershe, Stroivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne and Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast.
In the area of Popivka, Sumy Oblast, Russian forces deployed an UAV with a combat payload.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Masiutivka, Nevske, Serebrianka forest, Bilohorivka, Torske, Rozdolivka, Fedorivka.
They deployed artillery to fire on 18 settlements, including Hrianykivka, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast. The occupiers conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of Zhytlivka, Bilohorivka, Vesele and Rozdolivka.
On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces continue to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops, carrying out several unsuccessful attacks near the settlements of Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Stupochky in Donetsk Oblast. More than 15 settlements were under attack, including Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne and New York in Donetsk Oblast. The occupiers also delivered an airstrike near Bakhmut.
On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts, Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Vuhledar. They deployed artillery to fire on the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Netailove, Marinka, Heorhiivka, Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast. Russian forces are actively using tactical and army aviation in the areas of Kamianka, Avdiivka and Marinka.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, more than 20 settlements were under Russian fire, including Vremivka, Neskuchne, Zelene Pole, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Chervone, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The occupiers delivered an airstrike near Novopillia and Chervone.
On the Kherson front, the Russian occupying forces deployed artillery to fire on the areas of 19 settlements, including Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Vesele, Matrosivka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Kherson and Dniprovske in Kherson Oblast.
Over the course of the day, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted four strikes on clusters of Russian military personnel and equipment.
